NASA's Short-term Prediction Research and Transition (SPoRT) Center supports and maintains a real-time instance of LIS.  Their operational version of LIS provides several applications and benefits to communities in the U.S., Africa, and other locations that contribute to enhancing assessments of drought and flood risk.
